I'm so glad you're here!
Thank you for considering Collective Minds for your overall wellbeing! I hope to support you in therapeutic treatment and guidance through life's challenges.
About Me
Hi, my name is Kelsie, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and founder of Collective Minds Psychotherapy and Counselling! I hold a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor's of Science in Justice Studies and Community Services. I was born and raised in Barrie, Ontario and am loving the opportunity to give back to my Canadian community! I am currently also a program facilitator at Gilda's Club Simcoe Muskoka, providing individual and group support to the Cancer Support Community. When I'm not in the clubhouse or in session you can find me reading a good book, cuddling with my cats and dogs, with my family, or dreaming about my next adventure. I work virtually with individuals ages 16+ across Ontario and am passionate about building new connections with people to help them grow and reconnect with themselves to live a purposeful and meaningful life. To embrace the power of what Collective Minds embodies, I approach each session from a collaborative standpoint, with a client-centered approach using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, that views each client as the expert of their own life. My approach will provide you with a safe, comfortable, and genuine space to navigate your feelings with guidance.

Future Plans...
I know just how important it is to find the right fit when it comes to therapy and I understand not all clients and therapists will be the right fit for each person which is perfectly okay. I started Collective Minds to build an opportunity to provide the best care and support to each individual's unique needs as I know just how important this is for an impactful counselling experience. While it's just me right now, I hope to bring on new and experienced therapists, with general knowledge and specializations to provide this tailored experience to all clients of Collective Minds. As a collective we can collaborate and help you reach your goals through commitment and understanding. We will also be looking to support intern therapists completing their practicums to benefit affordable therapy services in the near future as I appreciate the opportunity to support financial accessibility for clients and skill development of future therapists to give back to the community.
